Holographic CD in a clear jewel case, rainbow swirl pattern

YOU'RE UP TOO LATE. SO ARE WE.

A dumping ground for stuff found at 3AM: burned CDs, dead formats, cockpit dashboards nobody asked to see, and the movies that got us through it. Nothing here is well organized. Everything here is real.

TRAVEL LOGS

Places we went instead of sleeping. Stamped, dated, filed badly.

✈ DEPARTED
Boeing cockpit lit up before dawn departure

4:40AM PUSHBACK

📍 GATE B12, NOWHERE SPECIAL

Cleared for takeoff before the coffee shop even opened. The whole cabin lit up like a MiniDisc.

✈ ON APPROACH

NIGHT APPROACH, RWY 27

📍 ALTITUDE: 900FT AND FALLING

Flare armed, gear down, eyes wide. This is the only view worth losing sleep over.

✈ LOGGED

SUPERSONIC OR NOTHING

📍 SPEED: DON'T ASK

Found this ad taped inside a departure lounge locker. Kept it. No regrets.

ABOUT US

Two people, one shared sleep schedule disaster.

A glow-in-the-dark lily photographed in darkness

the night shift, doing its thing

Astrophotography software mid-capture

"just one more frame" — 4:12am, every time

WHO'S BEHIND THIS?

UNSOMNIAC IDIOTS started as a shared folder of screenshots neither of us could sleep enough to organize properly. It became a website because a folder felt too private for this much nonsense.

We collect dead formats, cockpit photography, night-vision anything, and movies that make 3AM feel like a place instead of a time. If it glows in the dark or hums when you plug it in, we probably have a picture of it.

0 hours slept, combined, this week
74 minutes per MiniDisc, non-negotiable
∞ tabs currently open

CURRENTLY RE-WATCHING: old flight-deck footage, night-vision found reels, anything with a scanline in it

ON REPEAT: whatever's on the MiniDisc labeled "SIDE A", 96kbps rips, one field recording of a nebula that shouldn't have audio but does

CURRENTLY RUNNING: a CRT nobody should still own, a webcam pointed at the sky, three browser windows with 40 tabs each

DEAD FORMATS ON THE SHELF: MiniDisc, DVD-R, one unlabeled VHS we're afraid to play

Pixel art CD with music note, used as this track's cover art

MDJ'Z — Side A

unsomniac idiots / found media

74 minutes of a radio station nobody can identify. Good for 3AM, bad for literally any other hour.
